Interactive 3D map - Mont Saint Michel 3D

If you could go back in time, this is how Mont Saint Michel would look like. The video screenshot above was taken from the latest project I designed and coded in solo: Mont Saint Michel 3D. It’s an interactive online experience that lets users explore the epic story of Le Mont Saint Michel throughout the years with an interactive 3D map.

The interactive map from Mont Saint Michel Michel 3D lets users zoom in/out and rotate all around the island to discover the island in a different timeline. The online interactive map also includes clickable labels to help users learn more about the rich history of the island.

The website was built with Vue.js, Three.js and GSAP. On the creative side, the website was designed with Blender and Figma.

I was deeply honoured to receive the Honorable Mention from Awwwards and the Special Kudos award, Innovation award, UI award and the UX award from Css Design Awards.
