Mochitsuki Package Design

Mochituki is a fictional Mochi company that I created for the purpose of a school package design project. Mochi is Japanese rice cake made of mochigome, a sticky rice, along with other ingredients such as water, sugar, and cornstarch. The rice is pounded into paste and molded. It is traditionally made in a ceremony called Mochitsuki, a Japanese New Year tradition. The package design features 3 cartons that contain 3 flavors of mochi, all joined together with a set of chopsticks.
