Che editorial illustration

This is an illustration I created for Triton magazine. The article is about a small cafe in the campus woods called "The Che Cafe." The Che Cafe is home to students who love punk music and challenging the system.

The imagery provided for the article was pretty low-res for print-use. In order to make use of it, I applied some heavy distressing and halftone effects. It gave it that punk-rock look of the cafe and allowed the images to print properly.
