Mother's Day Card

Hand-lettered Mother's Day card I made for my wife yesterday. Freehanded on a sheet from my Strathmore black Artagain pad with a gold-ink Painter's paint marker, white Uni-Ball Signo gel pen and silver Sharpie paint marker.

To those interested, the gold Painter's marker had a flow that I can only really describe as "spill and spread", so not exactly feasible. But the gold Sharpie paint marker doesn't look nearly as metallic and shiny, so I dealt with it.

Glue-sticked a picture of the gift into the card since, unfortunately, it didn't arrive until today.*

*Apple would've gotten it here on time, Nike. Just sayin'. :)
