Cheers to a Calming Mothers Day

Holidays, including Mother’s Day, can be dramatic - sometimes tending toward overly dramatic. Expectations are high; time for relaxation is low. Vases full of flowers; cards spiked with syrupy love or saucy humor; hand spun gifts from the kids; dinner on the table.

I wanted a card design that embraced modern simplicity with hint of tradition. Fresh, cheerful colors; uncomplicated wording; and clean typography.
