More than 788 million vaccine doses have been given worldwide, equal to 10 doses for every 100 people.

83% of shots have been administered in developed countries, while low-income countries account only for 0.2 percent of the total doses. With this pace and bias in distribution, it would take 17-24 months to vaccinate 75% of the entire population.

What if we can develop a method to deliver vaccines through Nasal Chamber? This would have the ability to induce a special type of immunity called mucosal immunity.

Antibodies raised by the standard intramuscular injection are sufficient for the flu because it replicates in the lower respiratory tract. SARS-CoV-2 virus and other variants replicate in the upper respiratory tract and nasal cavity, hence an intranasal vaccine is more effective at stimulating the body’s mucosal immunity response.
