LinkedIn Pronouns Feature

Hi all, I wanted to share this prototype of a feature idea: an option to add pronouns to LinkedIn names. Though people can currently add pronouns to the end of their first or last name, having a separate button visible to all users promotes inclusivity and support for the genderqueer, gender-diverse, and non-binary communities.

I modeled this feature to behave the same way as the "add former name" button - when "add pronouns" is clicked, a drop-down text box allows users to type in their pronouns. After saving, the pronouns will be automatically attached to your name in parentheses.

It is time that something is put in place to ensure there is a space for all identities to feel comfortable and represented on LinkedIn!
