Restore Our Shores

Over the last 50 years, the Indian River Lagoon has become so polluted that increased levels of nitrogen have killed seagrasses, created algae blooms, and destroyed biodiversity. But MANG and Brevard Zoo’s Conservation Team are working together to build living coastlines of oyster beds and mangroves to not only filter carbon and clean the water, but also create vital habitats for marine and avian life.

With the Restore Our Shores collection, 10% of your purchase goes directly to fund restoration work with Brevard Zoo’s conservation team in the Indian River Lagoon (IRL). Comprising over 40% of Florida’s east coast, the IRL is the US’s most biodiverse estuary, and they're working to help reverse decades of pollution and rising nitrogen levels, which are threatening the health of this vital watershed.
