Going up against the Goliaths like Facebook in event location and creation, this little app-that-could allows users to browse and post events and ads to local audiences.

One of the unseen gems of this product is that it uses your location to update you about events that you're interested in. You indicate what you'd like to attend, virtual or physical, and the app will notify you when one in your proximity is added. These alerts are stored for you to find in the app when you log in as well.
