Heavy Rain

I saw this old card illustration browsing through the Insta*spam. While the base of the illustration is pretty much the same, I more wanted to play with color and texture. I wanted to focus on the detail in the hair/beard and really try to create dynamic shadows in some of the more subtle areas. Then I worked on experimenting with the speckle texture to try and give it that paper feel.

It took a couple of days, but I think I pulled it off.
