Part of the Renno website design process was making sure that we optimized every module for mobile. The disconnect between the design process and how many people actually use the web is interesting to me.

Since meetings about design usually happen on a computer, we tend to review desktop designs first, even if the customer will consume the experience on mobile. More and more, I’m trying to focus on creating mobile first experiences that also work for desktop. That said, a website should work well no matter what device you access it from.
