Cloudburst Brand Illustrations

Cloudburst Foundation works with leading scientists, activists, innovators, and political leaders on policy and funding for projects that support the regeneration of our planetary ecosystems. Their work can be dense, numerical-based findings that leave the general public out of the conversation and make it difficult to bring understanding and awareness to challenging topics.

Through our redesign, we worked to reimagine how their organization talks about climate change; using a strong illustrated voice throughout their website, we created an inviting and engaging platform to tackle the hard questions of our future. It was important that the look and feel of their website be human, community-focused, and represent all peoples. We achieved this through the representation of humans and nature in unified compositions, showing human hand in the linework and texture, and a limited - but inclusive - color palette.
