Mandalas. I guess that's what you call these. I make a lot of mandala-like designs, but I didn't really think of them as mandalas until other people started to. I never went in with the intention of creating a mandala. I go in with the intention of creating a design using geometric shapes. Coming from a graphic design background, that's what we use to create most illustration designs. Simply, geometric shapes. Repetition of these shapes in a rotating pattern creates a mandala-like design.

I don't create traditional mandalas. I don't plan what I'm creating either. I allow my creativity to flow and provide me with whatever I felt in that moment. I suppose that's why I see myself more as an artist than designer. I seek the freedom and flow of creativity.
