Disney's Godmothered: Unchosen Movie Title Treatments
One huge silver lining of last year was that we got to collaborate with Disney, a brand that shaped our childhood, and is responsible for half of the quotes in our daily conversations (you'd be surprised how often we find a way to fit "He's a human! You're a mermaid!" into everyday conversation)!
One of the 3 projects we got to work on with them was developing title treatment explorations for Godmothered, a Disney+ Original Movie about a fairy Godmother in training (Jillian Bell) who travels to Boston at Christmas time to help a single mom (Isla Fisher) find her happily ever after. We worked under the skillful guidance of Kari Miller, Michaela Mucha, and Jess Linares.
Here are 3 of the title treatment (fancy speak for movie logo) explorations pitched. It's a modern day fairytale featuring a wonderfully flawed Godmother, which was the main inspiration for our lettering: a bit rough, a bit unfinished, a bit cattywompus. Link in bio for more on this project. And don't miss Godmothered on Disney+!
