Peyote

Abuelito #peyote, in its true form and an artistic interpretation.
Peyote is a hallucinogenic cactus native to Mexico and south US. It has been used by the native tribes for spiritual rituals since the dawn of times. Unlike other cacti, peyote doesn't have prickles and can be eaten just as it is – although the taste is very bitter. Three medium sized peyotes makes a nice trip. Effects are very similar to LSD or magic mushrooms.
Peyote is a protected species and deserves our utmost respect. And if you're going to cut it, make sure to cut only the green part and leave the root in the earth, so the plant can regenerate. And throw away all the seeds, if there are some on the plant, so new peyotes can spring.
