Cardboard Companion - Import Stats

While beta testing the tools section for Cardboard Companion, many board gamers said they want to be able to import stats from other board gaming applications. Building the backend experience for this was difficult, and in some cases the import experience is suboptimal, but we got it to work which is exciting.

In working through this most recent beta I’ve learned a lot about putting aside my assumptions and listening to what others have to say. It can be easy to become too familiar with a product when you are designing, which will at times result in UX that doesn’t make sense to people new to your app.
