a sign up page, modal, form, or app screen related to signing up for something.

P R O C E S S
I started with picking out a colour pallet. Then I played around with shapes and sizes to create a logo that resembled mountains. From there, the hiking app idea blossomed. Designed by a woman who doesn't hike, at all. Admittedly, I had a fun time coming up with "Take a hike" as the CTA for this one. ;)

I challenged myself to work only in Figma, rather than using a combination of Adobe tools. It was quite challenging as you have fewer features to work with, but I'm ultimately happy with how this turned out for a day 1 exercise!

S O L U T I O N
Mountain Mama - A community-centred hiking app of sorts, with topographical maps and hiking trails galore! (This is all hypothetical, right!)

Since it's meant to be accessed on-the-go, it was important to keep things minimal, quick, and reassuring. This led me to create the confirmation page post-sign up.

The app name is a reference from John Denver's "Take me home country roads".
