Mobile Hockey Game

This is a hockey-themed mobile game I have been working on for the last few months. The reason I chose to design this is that I have noticed a lack of hockey-related games on mobile devices and there is certainly a market for them. My goal for these pages of the design was to provide a clean, yet informative design that was easy to derive information from and a design style that was consistent across the different pages.

In regards to my initial goal when I began this project, I would consider the work a massive success. I am very happy with the overall look and feel of the design and I personally think the sleek, dark look suits it well. I also know that with these designs I will be able to easily carry them onto future pages I chose to do in this project.

Now a little about each of the pages:

The top page shows the player information screen. Users can view the stats, ratings, synergy, and more of their favourite players. A large part of this game will be upgrading your players and this is the screen they will do it from.

The middle page shows a repeat of the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals between the Bruins and Canucks. While my team ended up with a heartbreaking loss, I thought it would be a great experience for users to be able to replay their favourite matches (and maybe with some new outcomes this time).

The bottom page shows the jersey selection page. In popular hockey games (I'm looking at you EA) jersey selection has been a massive disappointment for years. NHL teams wear tons of amazing jerseys every year and as fans, we only see them on a very limited basis. I would love this game to have jerseys from decades past, Winter Classics, and any other events, so players could experience these beautiful jerseys once again.
