Old Dirty Bastard

Old Dirty Bastard (ODB) Craft Beer labels and packaging design. ODB forms part of a failed attempt to start a Braamfontein brewery in Johannesburg. Two craft beer ranges were planned, ODB and I Salute You. Being Braamfontein-based, the image of Lord Kitchener was appropriated as an almost satirical, tongue-in-cheek, icon for the brand, channeling a bit of Austin Powers. The underlying theme here is World War aircraft, referencing the British Spitfire, US Northrop P-61 Black Widow, and the German Fokker.
