Logo design for Comet

Comet is a company specialized in advancing appliances inside space shuttles and rockets. They contribute to the development of new cutting-edge devices, instruments, and machines for spacecraft and change the way we thrive in space.

The team commissioned me to design a logo that reflects these core values: Innovation, Progress, Destination, Motivation, Movement.

First and foremost, I depicted a crescent moon using the letter "C" and a trail going through to communicate cutting-edge and continuous progress. I also added a small rocket to represent a target goal to be reached.

To represent motivation and effort, I tilted the typeface to the right to give a leaping-forward feel to the logo. I also made the letters look as if overlapping each other to suggest the idea of momentum.

As for the color palette, I chose a dark blue to speak of high quality and technology, along with a light shade to add depth. I gave the rocket a contrasting orange to make it more prominent in the design.
