Bast - 130/365

So I've been doing a decent amount of research for each of these and there's a lot of modern takes of the Egyptian gods with, unsurprisingly, a big focus on any that have an animal head. Bast is often depicted holding a small hand-mirror sized object which some artists have lengthened into a staff. And that gets a little weird when you look up what she's holding and learn it's a sistrum, which is a kind of rattle instrument. So imagine a big staff made out of a maraca and.. holy shit, you know what, that's kind of great actually. Never mind. Give me big kazoo next.
