Always Check Your Speling

This was a fun little sketch I did at work, not meaning anything by it initially, but then deciding to practice vectorizing and fiddling with a few color options. Had a great time doing it.

I absolutely love imperfection in typographical art, and it comes across in pieces like this. Things like grids and kerning are remarkably important when it comes to logo and typeface design, but I believe that there's something that touches the heart when it encounters imperfection. It gives us permission to be messy and to have lives that are less than perfect...and I need that permission sometimes.

Anyways, it was a fun little project.
