Pitlane styleguide

The styleguide is the heart of visual identity that bring consistency, modularity and efficiency to the project.

As one of the main goals of the application is to build a minimalist design, the primary color is a delightfull dark blue contrasted with white and light gray and the secondary color is the official formula 1 red used to emphasize on navigation and create a rhythm in the visual hierarchy.

The typography is built around Oxanium, a square, futuristic font family. Its intuitive strokes ensure legibility at small sizes and quick glances, while angled cuts add charisma to big headlines.

The navigation system is provided by 3 components, a navigation bar to switch between the 3 main categories (latest, standings and schedule), a tabulation component to devide different topics without adding too much information on a screen and an item component to navigate from a list to a detailed view.

And finally, constructor logos, driver country flags, race tracks and icons are used to break the repetitivity of large lists and help visual recognition to find informations faster.
