Hotel Victoria. Logo and sign system.

Pink Lions have designed a sign system that complements the ambiance of modern luxury and underlines the rich history of this 120-year-old hotel in Stavanger. The project was implemented jointly with the Norwegian company MATTER.

Our task was to develop a system of signs that would complement the image of a boutique-type hotel based on historical chronicles and based on the classical style. It's not just about the logo, but about an integral system that can scale and be relevant for many years of the existence of this legendary hotel. We have created logo's typeface from scratch based on the historical appearance of the lettering on the hotel building. Working with font required a lot of attention to detail from us. Along with the logo, we developed design elements that are now used in branded hotel accessories: keys, bathrobes, glasses, cosmetics, etc.
