Sketchook Noodles πβοΈ
I've been doing (almost) daily doodles in my sketchbook as warm-ups for the work day, and posting them on Instagram as I go. I've titled them "Sketchbook Noodles".
When there's a warm-up drawing that stands out I often give it a minor digital rendering/painting pass to bring it to life - like the examples here.
These are pretty quick and messy, and there are certainly some perspective issues, but I've found that the key to staying consistent with these daily drawings is not to get too caught up with the details and rather focus on getting them done efficiently. That way I learn from my mistakes and avoid them with the next drawings.
It's been a really fun and healthy exercise. I've actually learned a lot of new drawing tricks with this, while also building up my visual library along the way.
