[SAVIOUR CLOTHING] 👹

Remember the sketch I posted a couple of months back for a clothing company? Well, they're launching their shirts soon and I'm super excited for you guys to see em! Especially for people who likes anime!

The concept was to make a mascot that has a light and dark feel into it. The first thing that popped into my mind is an oni mask and a soul.

I presented the illustration to my client @saviour.clo and they immediately loved it. Initially, the concept was a person with a black and white mask, sketched by the client but I did not have the chance to see it before designing. 🤣 Just got lucky that somehow our concepts aligned and I hit the right vibe for the mascot design.

My favourite part of the logo is the typography, we had a bunch of hit and miss until we got the final one. It's just so clean and cool looking! We really wanted to capture an "anime logo" feel x "simple enough to print on a shirt" and I believe we achieved that.
