Lantern To My Path

The recent warm weather has me feeling extra excited for camping adventures. Looking forward to getting outside and exploring new trails.
Psalm 119 vs 105 says that God’s word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. This passage of scripture has stood out to me for a long time, given my love for hiking. There was one time I wandered too far in the woods of Kentucky and the sun went down. Alone, without a flashlight, and the trail growing dim, I ended up having to sleep overnight not knowing where I was nor how far away I was from my destination. What I would have given for a bit of light. Without God in my life, my path would be thrown off by any trial.
