Wastely | Reducing Food Waste

Wastely is a mobile application to help tackle food wastage by allowing users to buy surplus food from local grocery stores and restaurants, rather than letting it go to a landfill. Over 52 billion pounds of food each year are thrown out by grocery stores alone, so this is a significant issue that needs to be addressed. The focus of this design was to incorporate a clean and straightforward user interface that followed user experience principles while making the process from browsing produce to check out an easy process.
