Rootful

This project began in my sophomore year of college; one of the Photoshop class assignments was to design an information-based app interface. I called my concept "Organic," and you would use the app to learn more about why you should eat local organic foods and where to find them. The goal here was to do just that, audit the current design issues, and improve upon them while maintaining the original concept and creative brief. In the research phase, I tried to hone in on my competitors and industry-standard themes that would make it easier for the user to understand its functionality. I also tweaked the positioning to include tools for people of all types of food sensitivities and restrictions, not just those looking to eat organic.
