Reflection
This was my first ever 3D animation (unless you count my Centurylink animation done in After Effects), first render with Redshift, and first time using post-effects on a render. Originally in 4K but had to compress for Dribbble 😑
Spent a lot of time learning both animation and Redshift since making this, and learned a lot of techniques I've wanted to know how to do for years.
Never considered animating any of my previous 3D work as it took me 2-24 hours to render a single frame, Redshift lets me cut that down to 1-90min depending on the complexity and resolution, leaving me able to render the number needed for small but high quality animations on just my Macbook. Quickly outpacing my computer in terms of complexity in what I want to make though 😅
Still deciding how I want to share what I've made, but have a ton more of new un-posted things and am continuing to make more.
Have some pretty big plans and goals involving this kind of thing, hence the slowness to share my older un-posted UI work. More on that another time..
In the meantime feel free to stare at this for a minute or two and just observe how all the elements subtly change in appearance as they move ✨
