Waste2Fresh Brand Development

Brand development for Waste2Fresh, a project aiming to stop dye pollution in the fashion and textile industry by providing a sustainable closed-loop system that removes dyes from wastewater and converts it back to freshwater, to be used for the dying process again.

I'm trying to keep the colours fairly close to CMYK, to represent the inks, while the visual treatment in the bottom right is inspired by the sometimes beautiful but saddening visual effect of dye pollution: https://i.pinimg.com/originals/b4/b3/c3/b4b3c3380302f817b6fae87891a21d1d.jpg

The rather basic rough-lined illustration style seems to fit quite nicely with the brand as a whole and the influence here was fashion design sketches. Using the illustrations with a fill colour that matches the background with the ink patterns and shapes behind it reinforces the visual effect of pollution coming out of the clothing and process itself.
