Joy - Fresh Beginnings

For many of us across the world, life is a daily challenge. However, the ability to face incessant difficulties with a courageous smile is our real victory as human beings. This project is an ode to humanity and its small victories. It aims to inspire people across the world through powerful words that push us towards realising our better selves and a better life. Because ultimately, it is we who choose how we live - cowering to difficulties or holding our heads up with dignity.
2020 was one of the most difficult years in history and there was no better time to remind people about their own power as human beings. I created these illustrations to reach out to people across the world and touch their lives in my own small way.
At a time when we were all confined in our homes, it was quite refreshing and fun to pick up my pencil & posca markers and connect with the world through my work.
