Seedling is the plant care assistant for the modern professional. A mobile application and WiFi Seedling sensors aim to increase the average lifespan of plants in a user's home, as well as the user's confidence in maintaining them by capturing and distributing realtime data on each and every connected plant in a user's home.

In depth user research set out to learn how people take care of their plants, whether it be intuition, reactionary, or self-discipline. Do people want help taking care of their plants? Do people realize that different plants need different kinds of care?

One of the biggest learnings was about user behavior in an ever-growing smart home landscape. Users are welcoming a technological solution to maintaining the plant life in their homes, so long as the instructional care does not impede on their time/schedules, and is able to adapt to their preferences.
