Signature Boston

Signature Boston is a website dedicated to the idea of selling Boston as a destination for potential conventions and trade shows as opposed to highlighting the venues alone. The site was intended to highlight what Boston has to offer while using the cities largest convention centers to bookend the experience. In this project, I was responsible for conducting User Research, Brainstorming, User Testing, IA, Wire-framing, and Prototyping for this project. I conducted multiple one-on-one interviews, focus groups, and KJ exercises (Affinity Diagrams).

The results of the research were used to create the many iterations of the sitemap and user flow chart, as well as to create the hierarchy of data. Wireframes and clickable prototypes were developed for in-depth user testing of the information architecture and site mapping. I was also charged with conducting recorded user tests with various user types. The results of the tests were used to adjustments to the site map and wireframes before the final version was completed.
