Mobile Video Upload

Another part of a project I'm working on longer-term and have been for the past few months now. I believe forms can be the most frustrating part of a user experience journey, and so when designing forms for this project, I wanted to design something that achieves the needs of the form, in the simplest, most user friendly way.

Two pain points that I wanted to alleviate in this section of the app was firstly the error messages when uploading files. Easy colour coded bars help to draw attention to errors, with short, simple error reasons as to why an upload failed.

Secondly, previewing video content. A simple tap on the video file once uploaded will expand its size, allowing content to be reviewed before submitting.
