Denmark has a peculiar word for the feeling of being happy, comfortable and together.
This feeling is called Hygge (pronounce hoo-gah). It is when you are cuddled up on a sofa with a loved one, or sharing comfort food with your closest friends. It is those crisp blue mornings when the light through your window is just right. It is about savoring the simple pleasures in life.

Part of this lifestyle is based on a lot of candles and plants. I've been inspired by the "Little Book of Hygge", my go-to book when I need to focus back on the important things and people.
