Naideia Bee
This was included on the cover design of the debut naideia EP. The music is inspired by a lot of futuristic elements, so I imagined something that you might see spray painted in alleyways or as stickers on road signs.
I imagined the bee as a symbol of hubris among people of the future, who might equate their industriousness to that of bees. They might imagine themselves to be as important to the world as bees are to the natural order.
The symbol is also kind of a Batman thing for me—bees make me nervous—and this project has been all about facing fears and stepping outside my comfort zone.
