Bring your fight to heaven.

I saw someone write about this the other day and it struck a chord;

Once a snake-eagle has its prey it immediately takes to the sky. The reason appears obvious. On the ground, the snake has power, leverage, places to hide and getaway. In the air, that power shifts to the eagle who now has complete control. All the snake can do is strike uselessly at the eagle's scaled feet and talons. It’s only a matter of time until the eagle sees victory.

The same goes for us. When we try to fight our battles on our own, in the physical, we have very little power and give up our advantage.

When we take our hurts, our trouble, our fight to heaven, we have all the power in the world. Not because of anything we’re doing, but because of everything God can and will do.

The best part is, heaven is all around.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9
