Nas' Illmatic Album

For the 20th anniversary of Nas’ debut album Illmatic, Myspace hired me to paint the iconic cover with little Nas rising out of his childhood home of Queensbridge, NYC. If you like, there are painting process pics on my site.

Pretty fun to get to do this! Reminded me of those high-school days, although I was more of a Wu-Tang, Ice Cube and Public Enemy fan. I miss that music!
