Minneapolis Park Explorer's Guide

This poster was designed for Minneapolis Posters for Parks 2020. About 30 designers from across the state were chosen to submit limited addition prints to be sold at the annual event. Half of all proceeds from each year's show go directly to funding the park system.

For this poster, I drew inspiration from old seafaring maps (think "there be monsters here") and illustrated the city based on the locations of its many parks. The final product was an 18"x24" two-color screen print that I produced in my garage on a homemade vacuum press.
