A client asked me to design a birth announcement card for her newborn baby.

Briefing: "Create a skyline of our village, based on photographs provided by us. Make it a flat design illustration, silhouettes only, as if it is 'cut out'. Our house should be incorporated in the skyline."

Besides the illustration on the front, I decided to surprise them with a little extra illustration in the inner page of the card, where the stork has landed on their house. The icons underneath the name of the baby are also designed for them. Just a little more effort to make the extra mile in a personal birth announcement.

The address, instagram page, poem and names of the parents are changed for privacy reasons.
