Calgee Wordmark

Calgee is a vegan supplement brand sustainably harvested from organic algae. The founders’ mission is to create the world’s most sustainable and high-quality health supplements, for us and the planet. “We want to make a positive difference by creating the highest-quality products to help you live a healthier life.”

During the brand strategy phase, we unveiled their brand personality: nurturing, warm, inspiring, educational, friendly. We designed a fun, premium visual system that reflects their personality AND brand values of sustainability, quality, innovation, community, and transparency. As for the visual theme we went with the most obvious and fun theme we could imagine - the marine ecosystem. Their latest packaging is entirely sustainable consisting of compostable pouches + shipping envelopes, and recycled carton for their thank you cards and informational booklet.

Results

Calgee has been featured in DailyMail, Pentawards, Upworthy, and Walmart. The website design has received an Honorable Mention award on awwwards.com.
