Augmented Reality App: Street Art

Augmented reality app proposal centered on local discovery. As I walk through San Francisco I am always curious about the street art — Who’s that artist? Where else can I find their work? What’s story behind that piece? Having real-time information and mapping abilities enables walking city art tours. Having access to a social platform facilitates meaningful dialog around artists, public works, and local community. My idea was to provide educational information for real-time encounters — an outdoor, self-guided museum tour of sorts. Something that you could do at your own pace and catalog for later; something that would enrich your relationship to the places you walk by everyday.
