Peugeot 205 T16

I decided to make a series of the best rally cars of History, the Peugeot 205 T16 came on that list and I loved it.

You likely won’t see anything cooler on the internet this week XD jk. The T16 was Peugeot’s ultra-successful, four-wheel drive, mid-engined answer to the Audi Quattro – complete with that awesome works livery and as much as 400bhp from its transversely-mounted 1.8-litre turbocharged four-pot. Yeah, Group B was something else.

This particular T16 was commissioned by American rally driver Jon Woodner and built by Peugeot Sport UK in 1984. Woodner competed successfully in the SCCA Rally Championship in the US before his death in 1988, upon which the car was placed in storage until it was eventually sold in 2000.
