Modular Screen Printing Project

I teach graphic design and illustration at a creative academy in Guangzhou. We have a small workshop with some very basic equipment. I found a broken exposure unit hidden under a bunch of junk in the workshop one day and decided to fix it up. After experimenting with different emulsions and exposure times I finally started getting some ok results. I decided to make a set of 'modular' screens for the students to use, as a way of introducing them to screen printing. The screens contain different patterns and images designed to fit together so that they can be combined and layered in various configurations. These are my first run of print and collage experiments made with the screens.
