Jazz Radio Show Logo

This is a logo design I created for a client in Memphis working on developing a local morning radio jazz show. I wanted to create a logo that was evocative of life in the city as well as the calm serenity jazz fans might find on their morning commute or opening shift when listening to jazz music specifically.

When choosing colors and shapes to work with I was able to really consider the mood and tone that my client was trying to achieve with their show and relate that to an attention grabbing logo. The logo was designed for use on a website dedicated to serving the entire radio station so it needed to be eye catching enough to stay in the minds of existing fans and listeners and encourage them to tune in.
