Pyrenean Ibex

From a list of animals lost in the last 150 years is the Pyrenean Ibex. This majestic animal was hunted to extinction in 2000. Via a Jurassic-Park-like DNA clone method, there was an attempt to bring the species back. Unfortunately, the clone only survived for a short time after gestation.
