Within this piece here I wanted to envision the importance of being comfortable within your own skin, whether you are at a crossroad of falling in love, (The rose) be that with another individual, community, job or that you are feeling stuck and want to set sail for another adventure (The ship). Just be comfortable with who you are, and what’s inside you, what makes you you.
Fall in love with yourself, and adventure with yourself, (Meaning, try to dive deeper into knowing who you are, and adventure your soul, mind and body)

With this post, I thought I’d take time to share because I get asked this question a fair chunk of how I happen to work with clients such as these.
Honestly, my advice is to be consistent with your style, challenge your style for sure when you hit a roadblock, but have the courage to be consistent.

Having the confidence within yourself to try to understand where you want to go with your creative pursuits, and communicate that well with which brands you think will align you to those goals. Don’t ever be afraid to talk first to a brand you want to work with, I encourage you to do that. When there are a lot of creatives out there, be the first to pitch a fun idea you truly want to do to a brand that doesn't know you yet, make sure you are working for your achievements, not waiting!
