So my city held a design competition once.. but I didn't get pick so yeah.. here's my take on it

the colorful text resembles the variety of places and people that you can encounter in the city.. and the black bear is the city mascot.. that golden thing that the bear holding is an award that my city have for becoming the cleanest city in Indonesia..

I admit the bear was pretty bad.. but hey.. we grow from experience
