Together In Static /for Daniel Avery /02

Task ― Create a design for Daniel Avery’s upcoming ‘Together In Static’ show, for use on a poster and across all social media platforms. The show is described as different to anything Daniel has done before, with ‘dark’, ’ethereal’, ‘ambient’, ‘classy’ and ‘confident’ used as frequent keywords to summarise the mood.

Solution ― I created a series of concepts while listening to the music set to play at the show and keeping the keywords close. The chosen final design is a direct interpretation of the music, displaying multiple overlapping lines, and reflecting how everyone is far from one-another, yet still connected by the music and the shared experience.
